Today we talked about counting calories. We looked at the website: www.myfitnesspal.com
You can download an app to your smart phone, and then add the calories wherever you are. Now, we all know counting calories is not fun. At all. In fact, I kind of hate it, but the truth is, if you want to lose weight, you are going to have to monitor what you are eating. bleh. So, this website is what currently works for us. You can also link your friends so you all can work together. The best part: It's free!!

So it begins.
So it begins. My friend and I have decided to change our lifestyles. If you want to join in, here is the rules and leave a comment, and we will contact you:

1. It is 5.00 to join, then 2 dollars a month after that. The money goes towards prizes and
rewards.
2. You must be weighed in by an administrator on every Monday. (either me or my friend)
Everything will be by percentages, so only the administrators will know the weight of others,
and only to measure the percentages. This information is strictly confidential.
3. For every pound you gain, you owe 10 cents into the money jar.
4. You must work out for a minimum of 20 minutes, 3 times a week. Anything you miss, you
guessed it 10 cents per missed session.
5. Weekly meetings are held on Monday at 1:00. If you can not join the meeting, then
you must read the weekly "inspirational post" and comment so that we know you have
received the message. Posts can include food ideas, links to exercise blogs, quotes, etc.
If the group becomes large enough, we will have one person each week rotate watching the
kids so that babysitters aren't needed to achieve this goal. The inspirational post will be
rotated through out the group so that each
6. Our current goal is to lose 5% of your weight. The person who reaches this goal first is
rewarded by getting a free babysitter. Who might that be? Well, when the winner reaches
their goal, the person with the lowest amount of % lost is the babysitter.
7. Every two months we will gather for a fun activity like bowling, or a hike, etc.
8. It is recommended, but not required, that you log your food in some way. If you need a good
